Sheryl Reid was born to a deaf mother and a blind father. She has learned to communicate with them and love them many different ways. She does not consider her parents any less normal than the neighbors next door. She says she wants to be unique on the show, but not just because her parents are deaf and blind.

Sheryl is a fashion designer in a small town in Virginia owning a company called Voguette. She has won many awards for her designs in recent years.

Sheryl admits that she can get into a hot temper at times, but thats just coming from the mom side of her. Sheryl is the proud parent of 6 children, 2 of which are colorblind and 1 is completely deaf. When Sheryl was 36, she became a full-time sign language teacher to teach her deaf child and other unfortunate children.

Sheryls hobbies include jogging, talking to her kids, shopping, and just being a normal mom and wife. "Once the kids vote me out, theyll notice how much they really need mom," Sheryl teases.
