James Elliott has lived in the small town of White Alley, Nebraska, for his whole 52 year old life. James has never left Nebraska in his life. In his 2,000 population town, James knows almost everyone in the town and has become a very popular guy. James is known for his hot-temper, but otherwise, youll learn to love him.

Leaving for Brazil will be the first time James will leave his town, other than the times he auditioned for Survivor. He admits, "That interview was the first time I had seen African Americans, Mexicans, Asians, and other races other than movies and TV."

James and his wife Betty work as Real Estate Agents in their small town. They have met a lot of people through the real estate and have kept in touch with all of them. "It is easy for James to make friends, but if you make him mad once, it will be hard to become friends again," Betty says.

James is the proud parent of 6 kids and 9 grandkids. All 15 kids live in White Alley and, like James, have never left the town yet. James loves riding horses and listening to country and bluegrass music.

James wants to explore different places and people other than White Alley. His goals include winning survivor and watching at least one of his grandchildren get married. He also hopes to be a good example and hopes to have great-grandkids. James birthday is January 3^rd.
