REWARD CHALLENGE
[Misae waits with Jeff on Challenge beach.]
Jeff: Welcome Misae. You probably know why Mauli is not here. The same thing will happen as the last time, one by one they will walk out, doing this Brazilian tradition. Drummers?
[Brazilian Drummers start playing drums]
Stellar: Oh this is exciting
Slim: Yeah I know.
[Sheryl walks in]
Madison: [with a big smile on her face]: OH MA!
Mac: Hey Ma
[Madison, Mac, and Slim run over to hug Sheryl]
[Dan walks in]
Madison: Oh My Gosh! DAN! [Madison runs to Dan and embraces him]
Dan: Hey honey
Madison: Oh Danny Boy! [kisses Dan on the forehead]
[Jezebel walks in]
Madison: Oh Hey Jez!! You made it!
[Slim hugs Jezebel]
Jezebel: Whats up.
Jeff: Okay, all of the former Makani members have made it alive. Now, there is only one member left. Mauli is down to four. Okay, come on out
[Stellar looks nervous. Eric gives an anxious look]
[James slowly walks in. Stellar gives an immediate frown.]
Troy: Cmon guys [Troy hugs James]
[Eric gives a reluctant handshake]
[Stellar gives a forced smile]
Jeff: There you go. Jordan was voted out. Do you guys want to quickly say something. Troy?
Troy: Well. Jordan, what can I say, our minds brought us together, but fate pulled us apart. Id love to be spending the time here, and it sucks because the merge was so close! But youre not here, and thats all I can say. Im really gonna miss you son, I already miss you. Ive been missing you on Misae. Good luck man.
Jeff: Stellar?
Stellar: Jordan. I didnt get to know you that well, and didnt start to appreciate you until after we split. You were a hard worker, and very undeserving of the boot.
Jeff: Eric?
Eric: Man, you were like my brother here, you were the one guy I could always tell anything to. I almost want to say I wish it was me instead of you. The one person I wanted to see in the merge was you, but hey, Ill still see you after the game, right.
Jeff: Okay, on to the Reward Challenge.
[James jaw drops]
[Jezebel gives a shocked look]
Jezebel: Huh?
Jeff: The Reward Challenge. Thats why youre here, right?
Mac: Is it individual?
Jeff: No, you are still in two tribes
[Sheryl looks shocked]
Jeff: I told you guys already, never assume anything. Anything is possible in this game. You were probably thinking I was going to pull out some new buffs and announce you guys as a new tribe, but thats not going to happen.
[Stellar smiles. Eric looks at Troy in a surprised way.]
Jeff: So, heres how the challenge works. There are piled about a distance away from here. You will have five minutes to build a sturdy brick wall that cannot be knocked down. At the end of the five minutes, you will switch walls. Then, you will take down the other tribes wall, and the first tribe to take down all the bricks wins the prize.
Madison: Wow, cool
Jeff: Wanna know what youre playing for?
Mac: Yeah!
Jeff: The winner of this challenge wins a talk on a cell phone, to talk to anyone you want.
Sheryl: Oh My Gosh.. my kids!
Jeff: But theres a bonus. You can ask them to deliver anything you want from home as a second luxury item. This item will be delivered by next day mail, and youll have it with you for the rest of the game, so youll be having two luxury items.
Jezebel: Wow
James: Oh, were winning this.
Jeff: Mauli, youve been unsuccessful in winning this whole time, do you think youve got it under control?
Jezebel: Oh hell yeah
Dan: Definitely
Jeff: Okay. Misae, you have two extra members. Someones sitting out
[Madison and Stellar sit out]
Jeff: Okay. Survivors Ready GO!
[Survivors run to gather bricks.]
Troy: Here, pile a lot on me [Eric piles bricks in Troys arms]
Eric: Is that enough
Troy: Yeah [Troy walks back with 5 bricks]
Jeff: Remember, you have five minutes. You wanna pace yourselves
[James drops some bricks. Dan helps pick it up]
Jezebel: Keep a movin guys!
[Sheryl runs and grabs more bricks]
Jeff: FOUR MINUTES LEFT! You still have time
Troy: Okay, Mac and Slim, you guys go get bricks. Me and Eric will be building the wall.
Slim: Okay [Starts running]
[Misae has a mess of bricks]
Jezebel: well, weve got to get it into a wall
Sheryl: Ill do that. You guys go ahead and find some bricks
Dan: Okay. Lets go.
James: Ill help Sheryl with the wall.
[time passes]
Jeff: ONE MINUTE LEFT GUYS. Misae, you better hussle on that wall
[Sheryl and James rush with bricks]
Jeff: You better work on that wall, Mauli.
[Jezebel and Dan return and help James and Sheryl build a wall]
[Misae members construct their wall]
Jeff: 30 seconds
Jezebel: Cmon Guys
[Misae members rush]
Troy: Its looking good guys
Mac: Strong and sturdy [punches wall]
Jeff: TIME!
Stellar and Madison:[from bench]: WHOO HOO! Go Misae!
Jeff: Okay guys, switch places.
[Misae and Mauli members switch walls]
Jeff: Okay. You are now attempting to knock down the brick wall and make every brick fall on the floor. Be careful, this is a very dangerous environment, and that is why you will be given a helmet, gloves, and padded shoes [Jeff hands contestants safety gear. Members put on gear]. Remember, there cannot be a single brick on top of another, so youll have to work that out. When you think youve knocked down the wall completely, call me.
Mac: Got it.
Jeff: Good.
[Survivors take a minute to put on safety gear]
Jeff: Okay Survivors Ready GO!
[Mauli]
Jezebel: Everyone, go crazy!
[Jezebel runs into wall. Bricks fall from top]
[Dan shakes wall]
Sheryl: Be careful, kids.
[Misae]
Troy: Okay, the most efficient way to do this is to be organized, okay. Lets take the bricks off one by one. Lay them down on the floor and make sure they dont overlap
Mac: Okay
[Misae begins to work on wall]
[Mauli]
Jezebel: Cmon [runs into wall again]
Sheryl: The bottom is surrounded by bricks, that the bottom ones wont move. We need to remove those other ones.
Jezebel: Okay, you heard the woman. Lets get moving.
James: get a move on it
[Jezebel starts kicking bricks]
4 Minutes
Jeff: Its been four minutes. Its taking as long to take it down as it took to put it up, guys. That may be a good thing.
Troy: Were almost there [takes down a brick]
Jeff: Looks like Misae just has a fourth left to go.
Slim: [takes down two bricks]: Thats right.
Jezebel: Move em out, guys.
James: Lets go [tosses two bricks away]
Jeff: Mauli, about one third left to go.
5 ½ Minutes
Jeff: Its getting close for both of you.
Jezebel: Throw them as far as you can! [throws a brick far away]
Jeff: Careful there.
[walks to Misae]
Troy: Only a couple left guys, dont quit now.
Slim: [takes two bricks]: Yeah Misae!
Madison: Cmon Guys! I know you can do it!
Jeff: Misae down to about ten bricks.
Jezebel: Cmon Guys! [throws more bricks out of the way]
Sheryl: Were surrounded by bricks.
Jezebel: Thats why we have to throw them out of the boundary.
Dan: Its brick hell.
[Misae down to one last brick]
Troy: Everyone put your hands on this brick [Misae members all put hands on brick] Now lets bring it home [Members carry brick to Jeff]
Jeff: Misae! Again!
Slim: WHOOOOOOOOOOO!
Madison: YEAH! [runs to Mac and hugs him]
[Stellar hugs Slim]
Slim: Hell yeah, I knew wed win, Stella
Stellar: [laughs with joy]: Yeah, Thanks guys!
Jeff: Misae, youve won another Reward Challenge. You will be given a cell phone momentarily. Mauli, you can head back to camp now.
[Mauli members walk back]
[Troy kisses Eric on the cheek]
